All of my spheres are hand made by forming two pinch pots that are joined to become a ball. The design is marked on the surface and carved into the clay. Sometimes patterns are repeated as a variation on a theme. I often combine two or more designs on one sphere. These I think of as fusion pieces. The glazes are also mixed in ways that I do not often repeat. All the clays and glazes at this time are low fire.   .   .   Rick Weber
